Our Mission
YKAI has made significant strides in advocating the needs and rights of Indonesian children. The course of YKAI’s meaningful progress as a Civil Society Organization (CSO) has been shaped by the vision, thinking and efforts of its Board Members, strategic alliances and communities where it has its activities. All these elements are enshrined in the two key statements contained in its Mission:
To improve the quality and welfare of Indonesian children through increased public awareness knowledge and capacity to develop their potential in accordance with their rights; and |
To create an environment that provides opportunities, support, freedom and protection for the full spiritual, physical, mental and social development.Entering its 29th year as a foundation dedicated to systemic social change, the Indonesian Child Welfare Foundation [YKAI is an Indonesian Civil Society Organization that aims to improve the quality of Indonesian children and youth. |
Establishing extensive cooperation between YKAI and other NGOs, government, and entrepreneurs; |
Fulfilling its role as a member of International Forum for Child Welfare (IFCW) and World Association of NGO's (WANGO) |
